Long time, No Blog

Sorry to those who do read my blog, I am so busy. I have been taking classes since September at the Local Community college and caring for both my boys. I am taking course to be a medical biller, but the advisors suggest I change over to Associates in Business Management: HealthCare Option, because of what my plans were in my endeavors. I was originally going to take most of the classes for a certificate in Medical Billing then when I only had aclass or 2 left I would move on to Certificate in Medical Coding, then again, when almost done with that I was going to do Medical Transcription, BUT they are getting rid of the Medical Transcription at my school so thats why they suggest I switch it over to ASSBUSHEALTHMNGMNT. So I have fully completed 4 courses. They are English Comp I (a must), Basic Business Acct'g, and Medical Language I, the 4th class was just to up my speech in Spanish. This semester I am enrolled in 3 more must do course for the certificate they are Medical Language II, Computer Apps(Microsoft Office 2007) and Human Biology and this summer I will be paying out of Pocket for the Human Bio Lab and If I am correct I will be working with pigs and dissection but hopefully don't actually have to Dissect it myself with a lab partner.

In other news, Mateo is going to have a MINOR surgery on February 20th. I told his/my Doctor when he (Mateo) was 6 month old that I thought he was tongue tied, and the Dr. said we could wait until he was alittle older to see if it splits on own, well I brought it up again at his 15 month appt. The Doctor aggreed that the skin beneath his tongue was too close to the tip. He said he didn't know if they did anything for it, but I knew better my Nephew Jr. had the same problem at 1 yr 2 month and had a tongue tie release surgery done, so I called my Brother in Law Gavino for the Doctors name and number. On tuesday Feb. 1oth we drove out to Boston to see the Pedi Surgeon, he agreed that the procedure needed to be done. So He is scheduled to go in and under on Friday February 20th. They say he will be knocked out for a maximum of 5 minutes so long as nothing goes wrong, which it shouldn't since the surgery IS SO MINOR. Then an hour later we will be on the way home. So That's what's going on with me and mine.
