Few more pics

These were taken around the house when we had BBQ's and a birthday party. I love that my boys can swim, thats why we've got the pool, they enjoy it way too often. The last photo is what Pablo and I do together all the time, we go to cemeteries and photograph our family's stones or others Ive been requested to do so on from one of my web sites I use when I do Genealogy....I want my sons to know where they come from as well as I want to keep learning new things...I have a Witch from the Infamous Salem Massachusetts Witch Trials in my tree, John Proctor, his sister Abigail is my 11th grandmother back. My mother's 10th Grandmother back was Magdalena VanDerBilt, her nephew was the Commodore(rich Vanderbilts). On my Dad's side I got back to 2 different Mayflower Pilgrims, Richard Warren and Constance Dudley. Now I wish I could find out if my 3rd Grandfather back was actually with the surname HULL from Ireland or if it was changed by pronunciation or choice when he arrived to the States in 1869......Digging up bones is the only way I'll ever figure that one out.

June 20th at Action Cove Playground

This was a day with just me and my boys. They had a blast at this super wooden play place and park, although Teo did STUN his ankle while there that day, led to a 4 hour and 15 minute wait at the local ER only to NEVER see a Doctor and we walked out.

Some More

The 2nd time I went to creepy part with my husband we took more photos, the BLACK shot was from my first visit when I went with Tiff and Lydia but Im putting it on this post....Ive got 2 shots from the "tunnel" which is actually astorage unit that had been built INTO a hill when the property was owned by the Maudsley Family Long before the Mansion burnt, where you see ua walking through the foundation, that was once PART of the mansion.

Some recent things and pics.

So We have gone to do a few things since school ended but not alot. We've been to a Creepy State Park once with my youngest and my friend and her daughter and once Me, Juan and the boys went. The first set of pictures was the Day I went to the creepy park with my friend Tiffany, her daughter Lydia and my son Teo.

Hmmmm..Long Time No Post

Pablo is now 6 1/2 years old, he just finished his first year of school, he will be a First Grader next year.

Juan and I discussed Divorce this past Winter but it looks like thats not happening.

Mateo had another Surgery....After the diabetes scare in 2009 I thought we were all set oh no, more things have since happened. On October 18, 2010 his 3rd birthday he sat on a Bee...not good, he got red all over, was lethargic, breathing was an issue. We called 911 and we were taken to Exeter Hospital. Where they told me he was allergic to bees, no kidding Im deathly allergic I couldn't tell my child was following in my foot steps...HELLLO......I have epi-pens on me all the time now in case of ommy emergencies or Teo emergencies.....I got stung in the face while I was pregnant with him, and the doctor told me then I HAVE TO WATCH THIS CHILD, because chances are he will be allergic to bees too since I was stung while carrying him....So i knew just didn't expect it so soon, especially not his birthday. A week after this incident with the bee Teo had his 3 yr check up, and he failed his hearing test. So in December we went to Boston, MA to see an ENT, they scheduled a hearing test. Poor Mateo had 26% hearing FUNCTION in each ear, so they scheduled tubes to go in. While setting up for his tubes to go in the Doctor asked if I had any concerns with his breathing or if he snored, when I said yes he told me, when we go in to place his tubes we will also take out his adenoids.....So December 28th, we went in for the adenoids to come out and the ear tubes to go in......They had a long chat with anesthesialogists about what to do since he had a negative reacton to anesthesia when he had his frenuum clipped(under tongue) and they decided they would give him General Anesthesia and Morphine....All worked out fine, so in the end we know his reaction to surgery the first time around was due to the use of sevofluorine and/or fentanyl. We ruled out the anesthesia(which means Dentists again YAY)......

It's summer time we have been using th pool alot...Teo is 3 1/2 he swims underwater(cant above) and he does it real well....Pablo has been swimming like such for 3 years....I made sure my kids knew how to swim young....made damn sure of it too...Teo knew how to swim last year Summer of 2010 and was on 2 1/2 at the time.

I have finished up most of what I could of school, only have an internship left, but cant do it until I get some shots(w/out health insurance they wont get done).

I have talked to people about my Life situation with the Hubby and it looks like if things fail, maybe we'll chance living in his country, but won't know til we start doing stuff....But that is still 2 years in the least amount of time away. I have met more woman with relationships like mine in recent weeks from facebook groups...So finding out some info on these Life sitches isn't too hard.
Thats it for now...See how long it take me to post again.

Life's Big Pains and my Toddler.

Oh my gosh, its been FOREVER and a Day since I wrote one of these but something has come up recently and I will have something to blog about regularly to you guys from my Baby Center groups....Not something Good either.

On November 30th, I noticed a small boo boo, on my 2 year old Mateo's stomach, after my mom and sister looked at it, we came to an agreement that it looked like the diabetic sores my Dad is prone too for being a Type II Diabetic, and my sister also has had a few, she too is diabetic, recently diagnosed. So what did I do, I had my mom test my son's blood sugar with my Dad glucose meter. It was 129, so the first thing I did was call the family doctor(hes been treating my family atleast one side for about 40 years)So they had me go in that day for 230 p. I didnt get there til 330 that afternoon, but when I got there they rechecked his blood glucose level and it came back 124. When the Doctor came in he said with the Family History he was NOT going to say my son wasn't diabetic. On one side of my family(paternal) my Dad and his siblings not all but most have Type II Diabetes(Adult On-Set) and so does my sister. But Maternally my grandmother and an Uncle were diagnosed years earlier under age 30 when any diabetes diagnoses at that time under age 30 were considered Juvenile Diabetes(Type I Diabetes), so I kind of knew we were SCREWED.

I continued checking his sugars since then, they wer continously 125-130 all but on the 6th of December(it was 95) and the 7th(it was 109). My Family Doctor told me to get a hold of a Doctor in Manchester NH that is a Pediatric Endocrinologist who was actually based out of Children's Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock(near the mountains to locals its known as C.H.A.D. They finally called me back today and tomorrow at 145p, we will meet with the Pedi Endocrinologist, and immediately after we will meet with a Diabetic Educator, they havent done blood work but from What my Family Doctor told the Doctor up there They are already calling him Type I Diabetic(Jevenile Diabetes)

So what I may be in for is testing his glucose up to 3 times a day, possibly giving him insulin injections daily or multiple times daily, but I am hoping they can show me how to control it for now with specail dieting....The downfall, EVERYONE else who lives in my family's house will have to eat a Diabetic Diet so I am not preparing a bunch of different meals. We already have some adjusted meals in place since my father is diabetic, but my oldest son soon to be 5 year old Pablo will have to suffer with this and so will my 12 year old neiece and 11 year old nephew.

I hear it's going to be a difficult and tryig time for my kids to get used to not eating certain things that they have been eating, and Im hoping they don't take bad to it, and like the change. I feel bad that they will lose out on soooo many things they are used to.....My boys love Pastta dishes and my youngest the diabetic loves rice dishes and we will have to LIMIT those Alot, and they both love to snack on breads....I don't know how this is going to work out, but we will soon see...Like I said this isn't a good thing to blog about regularly but it does give me something to blog about, since I havent had much else too blog about in sooooo long.

Who knows

Well Mateo has been fine now after his little issue after the TTRS. Pablo went off yesterday afternoon to Maine with my parents to visit family on my moms side. Mateo was utterly pissed off at Mami and Papi when Pablo left, he was throwing toys left and right at us because it was TOO QUIET!! He just knew Pablo was gone. Mami, Papi and Mateo had planned to go into Boston area to visit Papi's brother and wife, but the ATM was being queer so we couldn't take the money out to go, so home we went and stayed all day. When Pablo and his grand parents got back Mateo was oh so happy and hugging his brorah. We went to the store to get some stuff for the house, tp, and trash bags, both Pablo and Mateo got away with a pair of slippers each and a toy each, the toys on Mammy's (my mom) dime. Pablo got some Dad and son fishing figures and camping gear(for the figures) and Mateo just got a baby key set. The slippers were cute though Pablos were army fatigue colors and Mateos had sports balls on them.

Mami has been doing ok in school she did however drop her Humman Bio class, due to baby sitter issues, but she will get them again in September, At the end of June NEXT YEAR 2010, I will be done with my certificate program but not done with school. I will continue afterwards, I will work, actaully find a job with my certificate but at night I will take either online or in class courses to go towards my Associates Degree in Business Management:Health Care Option and by doing that in September 2010 I will be 3/4 done with all the classes I have already taken by June 2010. So we'll see how everything goes. Its good so far so I am not worried.

Papi is almost done with his winter job, from Dec 5th to January 15th he was MAKING snow at the local Ski area, from the 15th until the end of this month he will be manning the ski lifts and then chopping the wood to stock up for next season. Then In April he will be back off to landscaping. That is when the summer begins on the homefront well atleast the grilling 7 days a week.

Tongue Tie Release Surgery UPDATE..Not to Good

Mateo went in to have his Tongue Tie Release Surgery this morning. We were supposed to be there at 630A but didn't get into MGH til 7AM.
All went well, he went in got checked in, waited in OR Induction Room, then into OR for the Surgery, he went to recovery and thats where it all started.
In Recovery his little cheeks were red, we assumed due to his slight congestion before surgery. Well we got released and returned home about 11 AM. At 4 pm We noticed that his WHOLE face was red not just his CHEEKS. So we watched hm for a little longer. When after a few minutes we noticed he was struggling to breath, and what not. Off Juan and I went with Mateo, to the Local ER, LGH.
When we got to LGH I told the receptionist that I thought he was having an allergic reaction to either the anesthesia or the tylenol w/ codeiene he had received when in Boston Earlier that morning for surgery.
Well He got a nice shot of non-oral benedryl, right into his leg. BY THIS TIME<>

Long time, No Blog

Sorry to those who do read my blog, I am so busy. I have been taking classes since September at the Local Community college and caring for both my boys. I am taking course to be a medical biller, but the advisors suggest I change over to Associates in Business Management: HealthCare Option, because of what my plans were in my endeavors. I was originally going to take most of the classes for a certificate in Medical Billing then when I only had aclass or 2 left I would move on to Certificate in Medical Coding, then again, when almost done with that I was going to do Medical Transcription, BUT they are getting rid of the Medical Transcription at my school so thats why they suggest I switch it over to ASSBUSHEALTHMNGMNT. So I have fully completed 4 courses. They are English Comp I (a must), Basic Business Acct'g, and Medical Language I, the 4th class was just to up my speech in Spanish. This semester I am enrolled in 3 more must do course for the certificate they are Medical Language II, Computer Apps(Microsoft Office 2007) and Human Biology and this summer I will be paying out of Pocket for the Human Bio Lab and If I am correct I will be working with pigs and dissection but hopefully don't actually have to Dissect it myself with a lab partner.

In other news, Mateo is going to have a MINOR surgery on February 20th. I told his/my Doctor when he (Mateo) was 6 month old that I thought he was tongue tied, and the Dr. said we could wait until he was alittle older to see if it splits on own, well I brought it up again at his 15 month appt. The Doctor aggreed that the skin beneath his tongue was too close to the tip. He said he didn't know if they did anything for it, but I knew better my Nephew Jr. had the same problem at 1 yr 2 month and had a tongue tie release surgery done, so I called my Brother in Law Gavino for the Doctors name and number. On tuesday Feb. 1oth we drove out to Boston to see the Pedi Surgeon, he agreed that the procedure needed to be done. So He is scheduled to go in and under on Friday February 20th. They say he will be knocked out for a maximum of 5 minutes so long as nothing goes wrong, which it shouldn't since the surgery IS SO MINOR. Then an hour later we will be on the way home. So That's what's going on with me and mine.

Mateo's 1st Birthday

Well we had Mateo's first birthday on Sunday, October 19th. We had about 30 people at the house. We didn't really do any games or anything, those will come at later nirthday parties. I will however post a couple of the pics. He got a few presents...Stacking alphabet/number blocks, a infant baseball toy, $10, Nike sneakers and some small dollar store items from children.

His big cake was Diego, couldn't really plan for anything else quick enough, and he had a small chocolate cake w/ chocolate frosting for himself. We had pizza and chips......

The Big First BDAY

My baby is going to be A YEAR OLD in 13 days and it's so depressing, why does time have to fly by??? He is walking, talking, and he is quite the little climber, and he also likes to play with his big brothers kid size soccer ball(but, of course, he's mexican so FUTBOL is in his blood)...

A list of some words he says and his pronunciation real word will be in parantheses. Mama, Dada, Brara(Brother/hermano), Dio (Tio), Dayo (Teo..his name), baba (bottle), Mih (milk), Agee (Paige, his cousins name), Nigh Nigh(nite, nite). I have been working on him saying Te Amo (I Love You, in Spanish), he says the Te part. He also claps his hands when we say Yea Teo!!!! or When Dada says Bravo!!!. When he sees someone coming or going he waves, he did it today while we were walking down the street to a neighbor we don't really communicate with regularly. He is getting sooo big and I can't stand it.

Pablo, my big boy will be 4 in December and he never shuts up...He says small palabras malas(bad words) like fat ASS, SHIT pants and he says COPsucker luckily the last one isn't too bad since he deosnt say it right. He is quite the little terror though (un diablo). He is trying really hard to be out ofhis pull ups and in underwear. He now has 2 money collection jars one at home and one at his Aunt Toochie's (My sister Moochie..a nickname) He is told every time he uses the potty he will get money in them and when he fills them up he will have enough to buy his Handy Manny Truck that is like $55.00 at WalMart, so he has been doing well with it between the two houses he has like $20.00 of it already.

Tomorrow he is getting a chance to go to the Topsfield Fair in Massachusetts. It has animals, Games, Rides and Much Much more. He enjoyed Deerfield Fair last weekend so hopefully he likes Topsfield Fair. If you are not from around Massachusetts or New Hampshire these fairs are mainly Agricultural and full of Animals, more for learning than playing. But he gets to do both each time....We normally hit a third Fair too Called Rochester Fair which is in New Hampshire also, that one is the coolest one because they have Bull Riding Competitions unlike the other too, it's awesome, he really enjoys himself, but then he is a kid and he LOVVVVVVVVVVVVES ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big Time, he does have a pet dog, her name is Luna Llena(Full Moon) and she is 75% WOLF (Lobo) and 26% Husky (un typo de perro). Thats is it for tonight Enjoy the blog. Hope to hear back from someone anyone I know on here. TTYAL (talk to you all later) Bye for NOW....Hasta luego, Adios.

Sorry, it's been over a month

I can't believe I haven't posted in over a month. Well I have been busy between mom duties and school who has time for anything else. I have been in classes for a months now, I had 1 test and turned in an essay thats a test grade......My medical language test was last week, I will find out tonight how I did. 2 weeks ago I handed in my first Essay (a test grade in English Comp), it was about a remembered event in my life...Great so many but I chose to srite about my first time giving birth, I got a B, before I handed it in two girls in my class read it, one of whom is pregnant and all she could say after reading it was I hope my delivery isn't this scary...lol Poor girl.....

Mateo has been sick, he has about 3-4 teeth all coming in right now and his birthday is 2 weeks from Friday he will finally be 1....

We went to Deerfield Fair in New Hampshire over the weekend and it was Mateo's first Fair he loved it, especially the monkeys in the zoo tent, he couldn't take his eyes off them and he got scared when we got near a Nubian Goat from Africa they are quite "tall".......

My husband might not go to Mexico as planned , he can't seem to save the amount of money he wants to in order to leave....So that I will have to update people on....

Other than that nothing special has been going on, hopefully I remember to post again soon...

4TH TOOTH

Mateo's 4th tooth came in tonight now he has the two front teeth on bottom and on top....My husband is due to leave in early to mid november for Mexico. Hopefully everything works out the way I'd like it to for myself and my kids. I will keep updateing those who know and those who care to know.

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!! and then some

Well it's been awhile since last but....Mateo got his first teeth on May 1st and May 13th..He was 6 months old....Well finally with a few days to go before he is 10 months old his 3rd tooth popped out and the 4th is following suit. I have been waiting for what seems like forever for him to have more than 2....and Finally he's got 1 more and 1 coming in SOON!!!!!!!!

As for myself, I start college classes on September 3rd. I am planning on getting a certificate in Medical Billing and as I finish classes working on 2 other certificates..same idea but all 3 mean good paychecks hopefully. The other 2 certificates are going to be Medical Coding and Medical Transcription. My first 2 classes start the 3rd they are Spanish between 1215P and 130P and then that night between 6P and 840P I will be doing Business Accounting and Bookkeeping.
my other two courses set to start that week are English Composition and Medical Language.
My sister will have her hands full 3 nights a week, she will have my 2 boys and my brothers 2 kids(ages 9 and 11) since he works at night. Then well Spring semester comes hopefully I have all day time courses.....

In other news, Juan Sr's father is sick, but not deathly that we know of and he might be planning to go into the Mexican Consulates office to get what he needs to fly from here to Mexico..since he's still illegal. But then comes the part of how or when he will get back here. Im hoping he makes me apply for a visa and doesn't choose to try and sneak back across the border...I hear all kinds of stroies lately about people having trouble applying and receiving visas if they had originally been here illegally, so Im hoping it's not too hard...But hopefully some of my dads rich friends have some pull somewhere..btw Dad has a good friend inside the Immigration Departments walls so hopefully the legal way isn't as hard for me as it has been for some. Wish me Luck with everything and I will keep whomever reads my blogs posted on the situation....Enjoy the remaining days of summer everyone they are almost over for the year...Will post agin soon

Nothing Special Once Again

It's been a while since I wrote but let's see if I can speed through the last couple of weks. Only things significant really is Juan Pablo got ma at Mammy and Grampa last week they took off to Maine for a week and didn't take him. He told me he wasn't going to talk to Mammy no more.....They called the night before they got home and he DID!!!!! talk to Mammy. They brought him and Mateo home some stuffed bears that said West Quaddy Lighthouse, Lubec Maine...it's way up by Canada, actually five minutes away from where they were staying. Yesterday we went to a wedding, my dad's cousins duaghter Kelly married her boyfriend of maybe 6 months. So now she is a wife and step mother. I asked her when she'll be adding to their small family she said hopefully soon, so we'll see if she gets pregnant soon or not. That's it for now.

He can SWIM!!!!

Juan Pablo now swims without water wings. My sister bought him a pair of goggle that block his nose and he now goes in the pool without help and knows to close his mouth as he swims around the pool. He swam from the middle to the ladder about 9 ft away. the pool is 18 feet around. Then he proceeded to keep swimming back and forth between my sister and cousin and me. And Mr Mateo he got a new float its shaped like a crab and has a sunshade on it to keep the sun out, even though he wears sunscreen and a bathing suit set that keeps the rays off him.

July 3-6 Weekend of fireworks and fun.

So we went to fireworks in 3 different places this weekend and then just had some good things going on at home. We saw fireworks in Haverhill, Massachusetts and Salisbury Massachusetts, we also saw them at Canobie Lake Park in Salem New Hampshire. On Sunday we had a cookout at my parents. We swam most of the time. Mateo did some interesting things today here are some shots of that and a couple of firework shots. The first one he was just standing and the second he did a quick walk to dada on the bed, the other three shots are of the fireworks we saw one pic from each location.

Happy 4th of July, 2008

We went to the firworks nearby tonight(actually the 3rd) and here are some pictures I took of the boys and some of the fireworks. Mateo actually wasn't paying attention at first so I drove right across from the stadium, and then he saw all the pretty "lights" that went boom and smiled. By the time the finale came Mateo was asleep and we were 100 feet away and he slept right through the MEGA BOOMS. Pablo was excited to be closer this year at the sma eshow than he was last year.
